Tango Bar is back! Postponed since the pandemic and in search of a new home Tango Bar will be sucking it to see which of three venues over the next 8 weeks might work out best. First up is the splendid McChuills…
Tango Bar has been welcoming dancers from Glasgow and around the world since 2002. An Argentine Tango club in Glasgow with a unique mix of warmth, openess and good fun. Dancers, beginners and experienced alike, will find a very special night of dancing here in the centre of the city.
The musical vibe is equally open and fresh with classics from the “Golden Era” of tango, Buenos Aires of the 1930’s and 1940’s, and a healthy turn of contemporary surprises nearer to home too. Keeping the Tango Bar mojo alive and kicking are a rotating crew of DJs serving up the tunes in personally crafted tandas and cortinas.
Tango Bar is free and everyone involved in running the club volunteers
their time freely, just for the love of dancing tango and encouraging
other folks to enjoy it too.
